Its that time of the year again for chocolates, flowers and hilariously bad, I mean super cute, Valentine's cards from your kids. I mean who wouldn't love a card full of thumb prints that reads "Thumbody loves you!"
The libraries have organized a number of craft events, and even a an improv Valentines class! Figat7th is organizing a Valentine's craft. We found their craft class very well organized and very generous with materials.
This is also a great excuse to go see Moca's With Pleasure exhibit. They provide a really fun family guide for kids to fill in and color. My kid had a a blast, she sat down quietly, ignored all instructions and drew what she saw around her for a good 30 mins. Win! And now that MOCA is free, it's the perfect time to go.
Finally, Smorgasburg is always fun. Its always a good idea to try and expose your kid to new foods, no matter how frustrating an experience that can be. lol.
If you know of any other fun events for Valentines (or kid's events DTLA in general), let me know - I am always just an email away.
Happy Valentine's Day!
